Bezold guided the Norse to more Division I wins during first 3 years of transition than any other coach in transition
While Bezold was serving as team’s defense coordinator, NKU won NCAA Division II GLVC championships in 1996-97, and finished both years as NCAA Division II national runner up.
Bezold was twice named GLVC Coach of the Year in women’s tennis in 1999 and 2000.
During the 2014-15 season, for the first time in the history of NKU basketball, three NKU players were chosen at different times for the ESPN Sports Center Top Ten which features the most impactful plays of the day.
