- Bezold guided the Norse to more Division I wins during first 3 years of transition than any other coach in transition.
- ESPN 1530 started to serve as the flagship radio station for NKU during their 2014-15 season.
- During the 2014-15 season, for the first time in the history of NKU basketball, three NKU players were chosen at different times for the ESPN Sports Center Top Ten which features the most impactful plays of the week.
- While Bezold was serving as team’s defense coordinator, NKU won NCAA Division II GLVC championships in 1996-97, and finished both years as NCAA Division II national runner up.
- Regular-season crowd record for home game in Bank of Kentucky to watch NKU basketball was 5,319 in 2010.
- In November, 2008, a crowd of 8,408 was in attendance to see Louisville play NKU in exhibition double header, the first game to be played in the new center.
- Largest crowd in program history for Norse basketball was in the KFC Yum! Center home of the Louisville Cardinals, in 2010. Attendance at 18,869 went slightly above the 2004 record of 18,824 when the Norse played UK at Rupp Arena.
- Served as NKU’s women’s tennis head coach from 1996-2000 and led to GLVC championship in both 1998 and 1999.
- Bezold was twice named GLVC Coach of the Year in women’s tennis in 1999 and 2000.
